The Van is loaded. Angie can’t wait to meet everyone at the Natural History Museum Los Angeles County for the Second Annual “Dino Fest”! Stop by our tent in the Garden and choose from 7 different colors to sponge paint Angie. We are all anxious to see what colors you believe “Augustynolophus” wore. There will Story Time too! “Is a Metal Dinosaur the Right Pet for You?” and “The Dimetrodon Who Wanted to Be a Dinosaur!”
There is much to see this weekend. Dino Tots Story time, LIVE Animal Presentations, Paleo Chats with a Real Paleontologist in the Gardens, Dinosaur Encounters with Life Size Dinosaur Puppets, Dinosaurs in the Media, California in the Age of Dinosaurs, Excavate Dinosaur Fossils in the “Dig Pits”, see how Paleontologists Plaster Fossils in the Field (Garden), Paleo Illustrations and so much more.
Make sure you check your map and times so you don’t miss a thing! For more Details go to www.nhm.org
I donated 12 tickets to the Arroyo West Elementary School in Moorpark. My neighbor Susan assisted with connecting with the School. Principal Ryals working with the three 3rd Grade Teachers created an activity for the students. They wrote letters “Why they wanted to go to “Dino Fest” and who they would take”. Each class had a drawing for 4 of the tickets. Congratulations to Angel, Mandy & Sarai and their Families. Looking forward to meeting the three Families at “Dino Fest”!
