Blue, Charlie & Alan receive detailing on their tongues, eyes and teeth. Apple Red Metallic gives the tongues a wet look. Gloss Marigold is a nice choice for the Eyes and Gloss White makes those Teeth Pop! Spraying paint in the caps of the cans and dipping with artist brushes allows me the ability to add these details. It requires patient. I found doing 3 at a time provide enough time for the first one to be ready for a second coat after I finished the third and so on. It was a partly cloudy day which is reflected in the pictures as the sun played hide and seek with the clouds.
More details to the Eyes and additional Color Splashes along the Head, Backs and Sides to come for the Raptors!

Cheryl my neighbor from up the street brought her nephews Mason & Liam over to check out the Prehistoric Pals. Their Dad, Lenny showed up later for some Dinosaur Fun Facts & Tales of Adventure. Mason, Liam & Lenny are from Colorado so from Up the Street and Across the Country More Humans descend on the Park. The Carnivores are Loving it!
We started with Angie the Augustynolophus, then Pamela the Pachycephalosaurus, next the Raptors – Jeffrey, Jerry, Blue, Charlie, Alan & Raphael, followed by the Triceratops Clan Paul, Christopher & Teresa, a chat with Spike the Spinosaurus and Stuart the Brontosaurus, then headed indoors to visit with the rest of the Prehistoric Pals.
The T-Rexes – Kevin, Alejandro, Dominic, Calvin & Hobbes along with the Raptors – Brison, Xavier and Jadon (who was waiting to have his claws masked off for painting) were studying their History & making Paper Dinosaurs (one of their favorite crafts). The Brontosaurs Gary & Cindy along with Brandie the Brachiosaurus, Stephanie the Stegosaurus, Marc the Triceratops and Antonio the Pterosaur were also in learning mode.
After introductions were complete Blakes Art work from the “Dinosaur Naming Contest” was enjoyed along with other Paleoart. Steve Brusatte’s “Dinosaurs” book was shared providing much information about Dinosaurs the group had not heard before. This book is always a crowd pleaser and a favorite of the Prehistoric Pals too! They were entertained by the book I’m making the final tweaks prior to publishing “Is a Metal Dinosaur the Right Pet for You?” and other stories I have in the works. Another Fun Filled Evening. Wednesday and Thursday, they were off to Universal Studios for more Dinosaur Fun, obviously.
