The baby brontosaurs were waiting for a clear coat when we left off. Before Clear Coating make a final check to confirm all your touch-ups have been completed. A check underneath indicated I still had some work to do. Touch-ups around the legs, some coating inside them and the baby brontosaurs were ready to clear coat. After some drying time, they joined their parents near the Brontosaurus Barranca.
Travel back in time to see historic sites. If You have an iPhone, Laptop or Desktop, You have a Time Machine. Bill Watterson’s Calvin of the Calvin & Hobbes comic strip showed me how to make a Time Machine from a cardboard box.
I made a trip to the Prehistoric Past. I was gone a week, but that’s what’s great about a Time Machine, you can return at the moment you left. I brought back some Dinosaur feathers! Let the Your Library, Museum or Viking River Cruises take You on an eTrip Back in Time.
Viking River Cruises is providing videos for you to travel to historic places using your electronic devices via www.Viking.tv Click on Virtual Tour to visit Museums and more or Video Tour to see shorts for Viking Cruises that will restart after the end of the pandemic. But until then visit Europe and its Museums without leaving your home. I was fortunate to visit Europe for my first time in 2010. Remember the Year the Volcano Erupted! Yes, while I was there! It was still a Wonderful Trip and I hope to have a second visit in the future.
The Prehistoric Pals & I continue having a Great Time Accessing Educational Resources Online. Libraries & Museums have a Funtastic Amount of Information Available Online via eBooks and links on their websites.
If You do not have a Library Card, Check Out Your Library’s website for how to obtain one online. Some websites are not as intuitive as others. Many Libraries have Staff available by phone even during the current closures, that can walk You through the online process & website.
Our Students front row Stephanie (Stegosaurus), Jerry (Raptor), Kristen (Brontosaurus), Jeffrey (Raptor), Arlo (Brontosaurus), Marc (Triceratops), Libby (Brontosaurus), Antonio (Pterosaur) next Row Calvin (T-Rex), Hobbes (baby T-Rex), Alejandro (T-Rex), Max (T-Rex), furthest back Dominic (T-Rex). We continue working on our Dinosaur Drums. Four more Dinosaurs have been sketched on Drums – a Stegosaurus, Edmontonia, Parasaurolophus and a couple of Brontosaurs. Eight more to go! We are looking forward to seeing how the kids will color them, add some background details and maybe a couple more brontosaurs to make a proper herd.
