We’re getting out the Halloween Decorations. I think the Stores started in August. If you haven’t picked up your decorations you had better hurry before they disappear and are replaced by Christmas ideas. Last year it was rather strange for me to see Halloween and Christmas decorations right next to each other! I guess that movie “Nightmare Before Christmas” really stuck with some retailers. Our Magical Jack-o-Lanterns were found at Costco (thanks to a co-worker) over 10 years ago. I haven’t seen anything like them anywhere since. The fabric ghosts behind them, my mother made over 20 years ago! Homemade Crafts often provide the best memories. Quality Decorations will hold up for a very long time giving your Friends & Family Fun for Years! These Magical Pumpkins look Great keeping Hobbes & Brandie company up high. The star lights use to come out only for the Winter Holidays. However, they provide such a nice affect for Hobbes & Brandie day or night, they became a permanent fixture.
The T-Rex Hatching Skeletons join the Park from Home Depot 4 years ago. Their red eyes light up & eggs flash as their mouths open and close crying out for Mom. Home Depot and other stores have many different types of skeletons in various animal & human shapes. But I haven’t seen the Dinosaurs for the last 2 years. Maybe they’re waiting for “Jurassic World: Dominion” (expected in June 2021) to be released before bringing them back. The Prehistoric Pals are drooling in anticipation! We all are looking forward to seeing our favorite stars from previous JP & JW movies return to the Big Screen for this saga. Yes, the humans too! Hopefully it will be safe to venture in the theaters by then.
Max (Maximillian) & Dominic are ready to start Pumpkin Carving. The Market had a great price for the pumpkins and I needed to have them carved by next Saturday for a Zoom meeting with readingtokids.org. Of course, the stories are all scary themes for Kindergarten through 5th grade. The tools and guide books for creating your special pumpkin came from Michael’s. The guide books have many Halloween related templets for ghosts, witches, bats, owls, cats and more. But oddly “No Dinosaurs”! Well, we’ll fix that. I have plenty of Dinosaur Books to provide inspiration for Dinosaur Designs on our pumpkins. Stay tune to see Our Pumpkins come alive with Dinosaurs!
Concrete Stepping Stones 15 inches by 15 inches were purchased at Thompson Building Materials in Camarillo, California. I like these stones due to their smooth finish. They are great for painting and will make excellent perches for Xavier & Brison. Stay tuned for a new color concept for their perches.
