We left off with Malcolm having much of his details outlined in Hammered Brown. The Edges of his Mouth and Eyes are done in the darker Gloss Kona Brown. The Eyes are Gloss Marigold. Gloss Maui Blue has been added using Artists Brushes dipped in paint sprayed into the can’s caps. Next his mouth is masked and Night Black Metallic is sprayed to cover the opening. The reflective quality of the Metallic hopefully adds the look of moisture for the inside of the mouth.
The Hammered Brown was used for the details on the back and op of Malcolm’s Head. Second & Third Coats were applied as needed to make these details stand out. Gloss Orange, Metallic Apple Red & Cobalt Blue Metallic make the additional details pop! Night Black Metallic creates the Pupils of the Eyes.

Aurora my reading partner and I, read to a combined 3rd, 4th & 5th Grade Group of 32 Students! Ms. Trevino, a Teacher from MacArthur Park Elementary was a Great Help with All the Students and hosting this Event. We appreciate her spending her Saturday Morning with Us and Encouraging the Kids to logon with Us too! Jeffrey the Raptor, Xiuhcoatl the Dragon & Dominic the T-Rex joined me from the Park. We choose the Story of Jane Goodall. It offered several talking points through the book. We even had a short YouTube video from National Geographic to play for All! Here’s the Link

We followed with a drawing activity “With What Kind of Animals Would You Like to Live?” The Kids drew Dogs, Cats, Bunnies, a Bear & Panda, Shark even the beginnings of a Dragon! My favorite was Jose’s Dinosaur! Unfortunately, we ran out of time before the Dragon was finished or it would have been a tie with the Dinosaur & Dragon for my favorite! Of Course, I favor Prehistoric Pals. Everyone did an Excellent Job! Thanks Kids!
