We hope You had a Wonderful Thanksgiving. We had some extremely windy conditions here the last couple of weeks. A few of the Prehistoric Pals took refuge inside the garage and a few others right in front of the garage doors. The rest were secure on their perches. See post September 19, 2021 “The Raptors on their New Perches” https://www.paulsprehistoricpark.com/?p=6041 and older posts for methods to secure your Dinosaurs. I thought it would be fun to tell some of our tales in verse for the Holidays. I hope You find it Entertaining.
Now that the Wind has died down,
The Dinosaurs return to their perches in a bound.
As we prepare for the next Holiday,
We listen to Carols by Anne Muecke Each Day.
“Hey, Duckbills”; “Hark! The Pterodactyls Sing”,
Along with “The Allosaurus Chorus”, They All Ring.
Followed by “Deck the Halls with Stegosaurus”,
Not to be outdone by “We Wish You a Dino Holiday” in Chorus.
But there’s More you Say,
Al Roker reads us a Story, Okay!
“The Dinosaurs’ Night Before Christmas” will wind up the Day.
Ann Muecke’s “The Dinosaurs’ Night Before Christmas” is an Imaginative Story of Dinosaurs returning to their original form to have a Celebration on Christmas Eve witness by a young Boy. The book contains 5 Holiday Carols reworked with a Dinosaur Twist and performed by Wonderful Singers and Choirs on an enclosed CD. Al Roker is also on the CD reading this enchanting story for kids & parents to follow along with using the book.
Back to the Verse
While we unpack the Holiday decorations,
A few Prehistoric Pals play Dinosaur Games during our celebrations.
Dino-opoly is the favorite to entertain,
A Dinosaur twist on the Classic Monopoly Game.
Kevin has his favorite token,
They’re allowing me to play is unspoken.
The Raptors get Ready,
TySantasaurus Rex holds the reins Steady.
Raphael the Red Nose Raptor prepares to Lead,
Their Prehistoric Quest at Best Speed.
It began Long Ago on a Foggy Prehistoric Night,
Raphael guided their First Trek with his Nose so Bright.
For Millions of Years when They circle the Globe,
Hope and Joy is brought to All Below.
