Recently a couple of Dinosaur Puzzle and Picture Books were brought to my attention. The youngest Dinosaur enthusiasts will enjoy these Books from Highlights. Coloring, finding hidden objects, even Write-On Wipe Off crafts are included in these books. For those looking for a more serious read: The DK Smithsonian book is a great resource for Dinosaurs and all types of Prehistoric Life – animal & plant. Many of the early animals while very small I’m sure inspired the creatures in various SciFi Movies. The early plant life will provide inspiration for the landscapes for my artwork with the Prehistoric Pals. “The Age of Dinosaurs – The Rise and Fall of the World’s Most Remarkable Animals” by Steve Brusatte. This book contains much of the information of the adult version “The Rise and Fall of the Dinosaurs – A New History of a Lost World” by Steve Brusatte but an easier read for the younger paleontologists. “Weird Dinosaurs” by John Pickrell is another great book.
“The Paleoart of Julius Csotonyi Dinosaurs, Sabre-Tooths and Beyond” by Julius Csotonyi & Steve White is an inspiration for much of my art. “Dinosaurs – New Visions of a Lost World” by Michael J. Benton recommended by Steve Brusatte. See what Dinosaurs really looked like. As You have never seen them before. If you like fiction, check out the Dinotopia series of books by James Gurney – Dinotopia 1992, The World Beneath 1995, First Flight 1999, Journey to Chandara 2007. Visit his website https://jamesgurney.com/ see what’s new and even learn how to paint realistically.
In addition, there are a couple of Dinotopia Novels of the James Gurney’s World by Alan Dean Foster – Dinotopia Lost 1996, The Hand of Dinotopia 1999. These books may be available at your local library. I purchased mine on Amazon.
Racing Green Metallic has been added to accent the Triceratops’s Shields and Body. An additional design detail has been added just above their head. Not happy with the look. Considering ideas to modify, otherwise will paint over. Next, The Triceratops will receive Hammered Grey for their Claws and Tongues and then sit tight for a while. The Brontosaurs move to the spotlight for final touches.

I used watercolors to make Dinosaur Designs on my N95 Masks (New Ones above). I couldn’t get a yes or no from 3M regarding any impact this might have to the effectiveness of the mask. Many Museums sell Dinosaur Themed Masks Check them Out!
