The Mountain Fire came close to the Park. The Prehistoric Pals & I are very grateful that the Firefighters kept the fire away. The Winds were extremely violent and unpredictable. For the most part they blew away from the Park. However, the fire ambers often were blown miles away from the fire’s location in many directions. This created a large evacuation area. The speed of the fire pushed on from the high winds left little time for residents to leave. Ambers started new spots nearer us, which the Firefighters attacked immediately. Again, We Can’t Thank You Enough!
