Thanks for Visiting my Site, Looking Forward to Your Return!
Note: Sponge Painting usually results with many kids using their hands without the sponges to paint.
Paul Heinzman!
It has been over 30 years since you were my account manager at Wells Fargo Bank. I remember that you were very fond of Wyland art. Now you are creating your own art. How great!!
Well Startex is just a memory now, but I always enjoyed working with you.
I am so happy for you. Best Wishes!
Hi Michael,
What a Wonderful New Year Surprise! It was around 1984 when you became one of my first clients in the Commercial Banking Group! Robert Lynn Nelson was actually the Ocean Artist I was following at the time. I still have a lithograph of his Dolphins above my fireplace. All the posters are stored in the attic. I’ll have to sent you a picture of one I found in the attic this morning. I have migrated from the Giant Whales to the Diversity of Dinosaurs and other Prehistoric Pals. Although my interest in Dinosaurs goes back to my Elementary School Days, I’m enjoying it full time now! Thank You for Your Warm Wishes, Paul
Trying to make a Mailosaurus as a house warming gift. Where did you use the Kona brown spray paint you have listed?
Pam,
What a Wonderful Gift Idea!
I only used the Gloss Kona Brown as an outline around the Eyes and Jaws on Malcolm. In particular, I liked the Dark Brown transition from the Night Black Metallic in the mouth area. I would love to see your finished Mailosaurus!
Best Wishes on a Fun Project,
Paul & Prehistoric Pals
Hi Paul. Love your website, completely new to me and much appreciated. I’m a 70-year-old dinosaur enthusiast.
I’m looking for plastic or concrete T. rex feet for the base of a mailbox.
I appreciate you and any help you can
provide.
Hi Christine,
An online search for such an item might be frustrating with all the unrelated items that will pop-up. I would suggest checking with your local Home Improvement Store for ideas on making your own T-Rex Feet out of Concrete or perhaps a referral to someone they know that specializes in unique items made from concrete. I focus on concrete bases due to the suns effect on plastic after prolonged exposure, stability/weight for securing your mailbox and the ability to make homemade molds. You might consider checking with the Art Department at a local College or High School. They may consider the project for their students or even know someone that works with concrete for small projects. I would enjoy seeing what you come up with!
Best Wishes,
Paul & the Mailosaurus’ Malcolm & Matilda
can I buy a mailasaurus mailbox from you?
Mike,
Thanks for the compliment. I haven’t considered making them for sale. Unfortunately, with all the projects I’m currently working on I just can’t find the extra time for everything that would be involved to make Mailosaurs for sale. I think part of the Fun with Mailosaurs is making your own special design. Perhaps a Relative, Junior High or High School Art Student could make Your Mailbox a Mailosaurus for you. Perhaps sometime in the Future I will be able to make Mailosaurs for adoption.
Until then Best Wishes to You for adding a Mailosaurus to Your Family,
Paul & Prehistoric Pals
